Welcome to Maddy’s Affordable Homestay in NYC, we offer an affordably priced alternative to expensive New York City hotels and is great for relocators and visitors.

We are located on a tree-lined and well maintained street in a safe family-oriented neighborhood. Residing in the home are your Hosts, an older couple who both have professional backgrounds and are very friendly and helpful.

Our home is only 5 mins. from JFK Airport, is convenient to Long Island, Brooklyn & Manhattan. Also, it has good street parking and buses (Q111/113, Q6) within walking distance. Subway trains (E/J/Z/F) can be reached by bus in 15-20 mins. For your convenience, the home is a brief distance to ATMs, grocery, drug stores, restaurants, laundromat, etc.

Travel House Budget Hotel Cheap and Inexpensive Place to Stay in Lagos Nigeria

A friend and I went to St. Lucia for our winter vacation, and our choice of accommodation fell on this special and

charming place. The Fond Doux Resort took us by surprise.

The people there were among the most welcoming and positive we’ve ever met in any hotel and we have travelled and visited many places around the World and we have stayed in lots of Hostels, Budget Hotels and Holiday Resorts. The cottage we rented was just what we had dreamed of and a lot more. The meals they served had a very high standard, and it impressed even our critical mouths.

The place is located in Soufriere, which we think is the best place in the Island.

We were never far from the most interesting sights. When we wanted to go further, the employees at the hotel helped us to get transport etc. As we’re curious tourists and eager to explore we needed a lot of assistance to get the most out of our holiday. The people at Fond Doux couldn’t do enough for us, and we felt really special receiving such a good service. Highly recommended!

STAY AWAY OR NOT!!!

We stayed at the hotel and they had lovely staff and everything seemed to be ok so we decided to book our tours with them.

We booked one to Sapa and one to Halong Bay. They pointed out the picture of the train and said that we would have the tourist wooden soft sleepers. (They’re specially for tourists cause the others aren’t clean). Apart from the fact that they booked the wrong train time for us we ended up with all the Vietnamese people, don’t get me wrong, I don’t have anything against Vietnamese people, we just paid for something and just expected to get what we paid for and the filthy soft sleeper cabins we had to stay in were dirty and the sheets that hadn’t been cleaned since the start of the week I’d say!!

On top of that, the tour they sold us was not what we got!! We were supposed to go to Bac Ha Market on the Sunday but they didn’t book it, so we had to wait in a hotel from 6.30am to 4.30pm for a bus back to a train!!

They did us out of about $40 each!!!

So when in Vietnam beware, everything is not what it seems.
